Session 4: Raid at a Funeral

After knocking out the mysterious Half Orc, we tie him up and thoroughly search the basement of the plague house for any possible clues about Rodrik's death.  We find nothing of particular interest, so we lug the Half Orc back to town with Othdan in tow.

As we approach the main gates, Kurst and his patrol are also arriving, many of them seem wounded.  They got into a skirmish with some Orcs and took a solid pounding.  Johnson (Who was mocking Kurst behind his back before they left town.) was about to be struck dead by a massive blow from an Orc greataxe when Kurst in the blink of an eye swapped places with him and managed to brace himself for the axe, saving both of them in the process.  Johnson is showing an obvious newfound respect for Kurst, and is practically hanging on his every word.  Kurst explains that they were able to lose the Orcs in the foothills on the way back to Trunau, and hadn't been followed.  Nock heals the crew up a little bit as we all head through the gates.

Once we're safely inside the gates, Nock and Jürgen take Othdan to his home, where his father is overjoyed to see him.  Thorgal and Kronk head to the Church to find healing, and Ingwë takes the Half Orc to the temporary jail cells in the guard towers for interrogation.

Ingwë wakes the Half Orc once he's sufficiently in the cell.  His name is Daktani and he seems responsive to questioning.
